ITINERARY

Day 1 – Arrive in London
Upon your arrival at London Heathrow Airport, you will receive a warm welcome and be chauffeured on an 85-mile journey to the picturesque village of Broadway, nestled in the heart of The Cotswolds.

Day 2 – The Cotswolds
Following breakfast, we’ll embark on a drive to the charming market town of Chipping Campden. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to explore its picturesque High Street and marvel at the Jacobean Market Hall, a historic gem dating back to 1627. Additionally, you’ll encounter the magnificent 17th-century Church of St. James, a splendid example of one of the renowned “wool” churches of the Cotswolds, financed by the prosperous medieval wool trade.

Day 3 – The Cotswolds
We’ll start the day with a captivating visit to Bourton House Garden, a renowned attraction that has been showcased on the BBC’s Gardeners’ World television program.

Day 4 – The Cotswold – Wales
This morning, we’ll set out from Broadway and The Laskett to explore the enchanting gardens that Sir Roy Strong and his late wife, Julia, have lovingly cultivated since their arrival here in 1973.

Day 5 – Wales
We will explore Plas Brondanw Garden, which was the cherished home of Sir Clough Williams-Ellis for more than 70 years. This garden graces a picturesque location and features a multitude of distinct compartments meticulously designed with yew hedging and topiary. It is adorned with terraces, adorned with urns and statuary, creating a splendid landscape.

Day 6 – Wales – The Cotswolds
On our way back to the Cotswolds, just as we cross the border into England, we’ll make a delightful stop to explore the charming historic market town of Ludlow. In recent years, this town has earned a well-deserved reputation for its gastronomic delights.

Day 7 – The Cotswolds
We’ll journey twenty miles south from Cheltenham to explore Rodmarton Manor, a remarkable example of English Arts and Crafts architecture. Designed by Ernest Barnsley, this stunning house was constructed over a span of twenty years for the Biddulph family, starting in 1909.

Day 8 – The Cotswolds – London
After breakfast, we’ll depart from Cheltenham and begin our journey to London. Along the way, we’ll make a stop to explore Waddeston Manor, a magnificent estate constructed for Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild between 1874 and 1885.

Day 9 – London (The Chelsea Flower Show)
We’ll take a brief transfer to the Royal Hospital Chelsea grounds, where you’ll spend the day at the world’s most renowned flower show.

Day 10 – Depart London
It’s time to bid farewell to the new friends you’ve made as we head to Heathrow Airport for your journey back home.

Roommate Matching Policy
Roommate matching is done as a courtesy and while most matches result in wonderful friendships, success is not guaranteed. If during the tour you decide you would no longer like to share a room with your roommate you will need to request (and pay for) a single room at all accommodations. This can be shared between the two people in the room if it is a mutual decision. If you are a very light sleeper or snore you may want to consider getting your own single room.

Through our own clients and networking clubs we have realized a general desire for women to travel but they don’t always have a companion. We developed the Women’s Travel Club for these women to have a fun and safe group to travel with. We offer a wide range of destinations, so that there is something for everyone.
We have women of all ages, with the average being 45 to 65 years. However, we do have regular travelers anywhere from 30 years to over 80 years of age.
We do not include international flights in the price of our tours. Not including the cost of international flights in the cost of the tour allows members the flexibility to get the flight schedule, price and class of service that best suits them.
