This afternoon, we will enjoy a Madrid city tour. The tour starts at the modern part of Madrid: Castellana Boulevard, where we discover the skyscrapers and the famous Bernabeu stadium. Then on to Las Ventas Bullring Gran Via, Plaza de Espana and monument to Cervantes and Plaza del Descubrimento with the monument of Cristobal Colon The XVIII century area around the Prado Boulevard decorated with beautiful fountains. Next, we will visit the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia. The glass opening in the otherwise historic façade hints at the surprising gems within, including masterpieces focusing on feminism, dreams, the Spanish civil war, and most notably, Picasso’s “Guernica.” Rotating exhibitions span the globe and touch upon thought-provoking, conversation-starting topics. This is one of the world’s largest museums dedicated to modern art, quite an impressive feat for a museum that opened in 1992. You’ll find works from Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, and other bold-faced names.

After breakfast, we depart for a tour of Toledo. The beautiful imperial city-museum of Toledo. It is one of the oldest towns in Europe, called the ‘city of the three cultures’, since Christians, Muslims, and Jews lived together. Its genuine Spanish buildings include almost all the periods in its history (Arab, Gothic, Mudejar, Renaissance, and Baroque styles). Also, the great painter El Greco lived here in the 16th century.

This route lets you travel through inland Spain along the Duero River and discover everything about one of Spain’s most famous wine-growing designations of origin. Enjoy the cuisine, the natural spots, and the cultural heritage in the area to make this an unforgettable trip.

We will visit 2 wineries along the route with wine tastings and a packed lunch from the hotel.. The wines produced in the Ribera del Duero DO are almost entirely made from red grapes. Tinto Fino (the local name for Tempranillo), the main red varietal in the northern half of the Spanish peninsula, accounts for the vast majority of demand. Tinto Fino is often, but not always, blended with Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Merlot, while the popular Tinto Pesquera is made entirely of Tempranillo. A light lunch will be included.

Today we will have a very early morning departure. We will depart Madrid and travel to Cordoba via a stop off at Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos, a site also called the Palace of the Christian Kings, built in the 14th century by Alfonso XI. Following will be La Mezquita-Catedral de Cordoba, a cathedral converted from an original mosque when the Christians conquered Cordoba in the 13th century. Modifications took place more than two centuries later, so the building’s original Gothic style is combined with Baroque and Renaissance elements. See the Cardinal’s Chapel and its treasure—the monstrance of Enrique de Arfe – as well as an ivory crucifix of Alonso Cano and countless sculptures and paintings. Following these tours, continue to El Zoco, a market where traditional artisans paint and flamenco dancers practice.

Enjoy a unique breakfast experience. The group will take part in a La Oleoteca Cordoba tasting experience, including a class on production, harvesting, and classification, a tasting of 5 varieties, and a traditional Cordoba breakfast with natural yogurt with olive oil, oranges with olive oil and sugar, and bread with olive oil and chocolate.

Then we will travel from Cordoba to Seville. Enjoy your lunch at leisure when we arrive in Seville.

After lunch, we will have a tour of Seville.  Discover the architecture of Seville in 1929, when the Iberoamerican Exhibition took place in the capital of Andalucia. You will pay a visit to the Alcazar Royal Palace, a fantastic example of the Moorish style with gorgeous tile mosaics, shady courtyards, and Moorish and Renaissance gardens. Following this, you will head to the Las Setas de Sevilla Lookout, also known as the Mirador de Sevilla Mushrooms. You will enjoy the views and contemplate the city of Seville at your feet through winding catwalks at different heights, from 22-28.5 metres high along its 250 metres of travel.  You’ll pay a visit to the Alcazar Royal Palace, a fantastic example of the Moorish style with gorgeous tile mosaics, shady courtyards, and Moorish and Renaissance gardens.
Tonight we enjoy a wonderful dinner of a tapas menu with wine pairing.

Among all the things to do in Andalucia, it is a must to do a road trip on the White villages Route. The most famous road of Andalucia will take you to the most beautiful villages and countryside spots. Most of the White Villages, or “Pueblos Blancos”, are located uphill. In the past, that was the best protection against a potential enemy attack. If all the houses are white, it’s for a good reason: it helps to keep their inside relatively cool during the hot Andalusian summers. These villages are very charming, with their narrow streets and balconies covered with flowers.

After lunch on our own, we will make our way to Granada. The city of Granada is located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, at the convergence of three rivers, Beiro, Darro and Genil, at 738 metres above sea level, yet only one hour from the Mediterranean coast, the Costa Tropical. You will discover that there are plenty of things to do in this enriching, cultural city, which is home to The Alhambra, a Moorish citadel and palace. The Alhambra is one of the most celebrated landmarks of the Islamic historical legacy and is one of the most enchanting, fascinating places to visit. Granada is also renowned within Spain for its prestigious University of Granada and, these days, vibrant night-life.
This evening, we will enjoy a flamenco show with  a 3-course dinner at El Temple Del Flamenco.

On our way to Valencia, we will stop in Murcia, where you will have some free time. The city of Murcia was founded by the Arabs during the 1st century. Since then, it has been a crossroads for different civilizations and core of the Mediterranean, as it occupies an important location on the Rio Segura. The impressive Basilica (Cathedral), which sits opposite the modern Tourist Office, makes a great starting point right in the heart of the city.

From here, explore the colorful, lively little plazas that nestle in between the narrow streets. Murcia has an overwhelming array of museums, art galleries centers, and beautiful historic buildings, so if it is culture that you crave, you will certainly enjoy your time here.
This evening will be a Paella Cooking Demonstration and dinner. The best place to learn how to prepare a Paella is the city where this delicious dish originates, namely Valencia. During this paella cooking class, you will learn how to prepare traditional paella Valenciana.

Before we depart Valencia, we will have a panoramic walking tour of the city, main sights include: the City of Arts and Sciences (Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias), the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Silk Exchange (La Lonja) and the Congress Palace (Palacio de Congresos).

This afternoon, we will continue to Barcelona and check into our hotel. Enjoy a free evening in Barcelona. This very attractive city is full of outdoor markets, restaurants, shops, museums and churches and is excellent for walking around. You will receive the Hola Barcelona Travel Card, which will give you unlimited access to trams and buses (night buses not included), unlimited travel on metro lines operated by the Metropolitan Transport System (TMB), unlimited access to the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat (FGC) city network, unlimited travel on RENFE suburban trains zone 1, and the Funicular de Montjuïc.

After breakfast, go sightseeing in Barcelona, with a visit to the Sagrada Familia Cathedral. Travel up to the summit of Montjuic Hill for panoramic views of the city and its bustling harbor. Admire the sights of Palau Sant Jordi and Calatrava Tower, and then visit the Spanish Village to see typical architecture and traditional crafts from different regions of Spain.

Finish your morning with a cable car ride up to Montjuic Castle for more views of Barcelona’s stunning skyline.
This afternoon, we will embark on a Boqueria Market tour, followed by a Paella cooking class and dinner.

After breakfast, embark on a bus tour of the Gothic Quarter. Gothic is an ideal neighborhood to get lost in; its narrow, labyrinthine streets will lead you to discover some of the most beautiful corners of the city.

Rambling from the Cathedral, the Church of Santa Maria del Mar, or the old Jewish quarter, this route will allow you to experience the classic ancient buildings mixed with modern architecture.

This evening, we will learn how to make the iconic Sangria. Sangria is the most famous Spanish cocktail, it is a delicious and refreshing wine cocktail.
Following our Sangria masterclass, we will proceed to our farewell dinner together.
