You will set a leisurely course for the lush Tuamotu and Society Islands, snorkeling amid brightly colored fish and harmless black-tipped sharks in Fakarava’s Blue Lagoon, floating in a glass-bottom boat above vibrant parrot fish and turquoise Napoleon fish off the coast of Rangiroa, and mastering the art of drift snorkeling among the coral and swirling currents near Tahaa. Inhale the heady aromatic fragrances of a vanilla drying stall on Huahine. Exploring the island, you’ll find waterfalls, fruit tree-filled valleys, and colorful houses in pastel tones – all of which are great photo opportunities for photographers.

  • Day 11 – Depart Papeete

Tour Host

Women’s Travel Club tours are hosted tours. Your tour host is in addition to local tour guides. Your Women’s Travel Club tour host is your tour concierge, and she is there to make sure every part of the tour runs smoothly. Our trained hosts are seasoned travelers who are with you every step of your tour so that you only have to worry about enjoying yourself and having fun.

Roommate Matching Policy

Roommate matching is done as a courtesy, and while most matches result in wonderful friendships, success is not guaranteed. If, during the tour, you decide you would no longer like to share a room with your roommate, you will need to request (and pay for) a single room at all accommodations. This can be shared between the two people in the room if it is a mutual decision. If you are a very light sleeper or snore, you may want to consider getting your own single room.

Flight Information

The Women’s Travel Club recommends booking flexible or refundable air tickets when possible.

When arranging your flights to Los Angeles please keep the following in mind:
The Air Tahiti Nui flight from Los Angeles (LAX) to Tahiti (PPT) departs LAX at 10:55pm on Nov. 16 and the return flight to LAX arrives November 29 at 9:30am.   Given the extra time required to collect your bags from your domestic flight, clear customs and immigration (if flying in from Canada) and then check in with Air Tahiti Nui, which may involve a terminal change, please ensure that your flights in and out of Los Angeles allow you at least 6 hours to connect with the Tahiti flights.

Star Breeze is large enough to pamper and entertain you, yet small enough to tuck into delightful tiny harbors and hidden coves that others can’t reach.

This all-suite yacht completed renovation to provide more of what our guests love. New public areas, including two new dining venues, a new spa, infinity pool, and fitness area. The yacht also boasts all new bathrooms in every suite and a new category of Star suites, featuring a new layout. With ocean views and at least 277 square feet of comfort, Star Breeze is the perfect yacht to watch glaciers and fjords drift by from the serenity of your suite.

Carrying only 312 guests, Star Breeze still tucks into small ports like Sanary-sur-Mer and Wrangell or narrow waterways like the Corinth Canal and Keil Canal.

Through our own clients and networking clubs we have realized a general desire for women to travel but they don’t always have a companion. We developed the Women’s Travel Club for these women to have a fun and safe group to travel with. We offer a wide range of destinations, so that there is something for everyone.

We have women of all ages, with the average being 45 to 65 years. However, we do have regular travelers anywhere from 30 years to over 80 years of age.

We do not include international flights in the price of our tours. Not including the cost of international flights in the cost of the tour allows members the flexibility to get the flight schedule, price and class of service that best suits them. The Women's Travel Club flight desk will be happy to help arrange your international flights.

Yes, we always negotiate the best possible single supplement rate for our trips. Single spots fill quickly and may be limited so we suggest you book early for a single spot.

Yes, each of our booking forms has an area for you to request to be matched with a roommate. We get some general information that will help us match you with a great new friend.

Canadian and US citizens do not need a visa for travel to the French Polynesia for up to 90 days. However, travel requirements may change at any time. Daily high temperatures are around 86°F, rarely falling below 83°F or exceeding 88°F. Daily low temperatures are around 75°F, rarely falling below 72°F or exceeding 78°F.

Beginning June 1, 2023, Windstar will no longer require guests be vaccinated for COVID-19. Crew will continue to be vaccinated.
