Our tour to La Ventana is an excellent option to see one of the best and most traditional Tango shows that the city offers. You are going to visit a historic tenement that has been restored and is located in the San Telmo neighborhood: the cradle of tango par excellence. Located on the west end of the Paraná River, the Iguazú Park is a huge tropical rainforest, which has been declared a World Heritage Site: it is one of the largest forest reserves in South America. Countless flora and fauna species live in it. We will take an elevator down to the base of the waterfalls and stop right above the river level. From a 1,000-meter footbridge, we will be able to admire the majestic Iguazú Falls or go up an elevator to the Salto Floreano viewpoint.

Tonight you’ll have a farewell dinner at The Argentine Experience with round trip transfers and a guide to assist.

This unique dinner party’s concept is to teach you the fundamentals of what being an Argentine is all about, whilst simply having more fun than is available anywhere else. You’ll learn how to close your own empanada using the ‘repulge’ technique, order steak your way in Spanish, and prepare your own ‘mate’ drink.

Continue to the Parque Forestal, the Fine Arts Museum, and the bohemian area of Bellavista before climbing Santa Lucia Hill to enjoy a panoramic view of the city. The visit finishes with a trip to the craft village of Los Graneros del Alba, before returning to your hotel.

You will first visit Villa del Mar city, often known as “Ciudad Jardín”; it is an elegant and sophisticated city inspired by the French Riviera. Then, you will cross the picturesque “Reloj de Flores”, you will go all over the “Avenida Perú” along with its traditional “Casino” and its elegant “Hotel del Mar”, which is the first of Chile established in 1930.

Later, you will go to “Valparaíso,”  which was declared a “World Heritage Site by UNESCO”. It is also known as the cultural capital of Chile, a commercial port, the Chilean Navy, University City, and Bohemian City. It is a city with a charming, picturesque, and historic port. It is called the “Jewell of the Pacific” due to its prevalent and beautiful Pacific Ocean view. The journey includes a tour with a panoramic view of the “National Congress,”  “O’Higgins Park,Italy Park,Victoria Square,Sotomayor Square,” and “e,“Victoria Square”, “Sotomayor Square” and the “Muelle le Prat,”  located in the same port.

The tour ends at “Viña Matetic”. The history of “Viña Matetic” begins in 1999, when the Matetic family decided to diversify its businesses and get into the world of wine, strongly trusting the benefits from the weather and soils of the “Valle del Rosario.”. It was very important to have a professional team to manage this project. Therefore, Alan York (biodynamic consultant), Ken Bernards (winemaker consultant), and Ann Kraemer (production) joined in 2000; they were able to help the wines of “Matetic Vineyard” reach a high quality. This visit will start with the winery at the vineyard. You will be warmly received by a bilingual guide, who will take you on a tour of the winery, while you enjoy the panoramic view of vineyards. It is the perfect site to learn about organic farming and winemaking. After that, you will enjoy a wine tasting in the tasting room, and visit the wine shop, where you may buy wines and Matetic’s accessories, if you so wish.

Finally, you will enjoy a delicious lunch at the vineyard restaurant, called “Equilibrio,”  which is specialized in Chilean food. Those delicious lunch preparations magically fuse the wine vineyard together, offering an unforgettable experience. Return to the hotel in Santiago.

We will close the tour with a visit to the Andean Museum and a wine tasting. As a souvenir of this experience, we will take an engraved glass. In the beautiful Pirque Valley, we will find Cousiño Macul, the only vineyard in Santiago. It was built in 1870 with bricks and limestone. Right in the center of the farm, we will find the main winery, 7 meters deep. Accompanied by a guide, we will tour the old wineries to learn about the techniques used in the 19th century and the sustainable practices of today. We will end the day with every wine lover’s favorite part: the tasting.

During the last period of the moai era (the most important of Rapa Nui´s culture), the descendants of the Polynesian navigators turned their eyes toward the sky.

We will take you to the archaeological sites that tell of the connection between the islanders and the universe. Ahu (=altars) and moai (=statues) prove the magnificent development of megalithic construction with astronomical orientation.

This tour mainly focuses on the central part of the island and all of the great archaeological features that can be found within it. Moreover, all of the visited points represent ancient sites that were created and used during the end of the Ahu Moai Phase. These sites have new cultural developments, especially in the Ahu. This tour visits 3 restored sites.

Get to know the importance of the ariki (king) Hotu Matu´a—not only from the place of his disembarkation to his tomb, but also during the following 700 years after settlement, with all the efforts that that went into the production of the moai (statues).

We begin from Hanga Roa to Anakena Beach through the center of the island, Vaitea, and back to Hanga Roa through the south coast.

We’ll discuss elements such as competitions, competitors, and how this competition could be seen as an ecological mechanism for survival during the most difficult part of Rapa Nui history. At the end of the interpretive trail lies Mata Ngarau. It was the central Focus of the birdman cult. Here, nearly every boulder is carved and re carved with petroglyphs, which are carvings on stone.
