We need some important information prior to your trip. This information will include your flight details which we need for your transfer. Please fill in this information as soon as possible.

Arrival Details
Arrive to Hanoi - Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) - at any time on or before first day of tour. Transfer to Golden Silk Boutique Hotel. 
Departure Details
Depart from Ho Chi Minh City - Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) - at any time on last day of tour. Depart from Liberty Central Saigon Riverside Hotel.
Airport Transfers
Airport transfers are included with your tour. You will be met at the airport. After you exit the secure area look for someone with a sign with either your name or the Women's Travel Club.


 


If you have purchased your own pre-night or post night accommodations (not through the Women's Travel Club) you will have to arrange your own airport transfer or take a taxi.
Flight Information
The Women’s Travel Club recommends booking flexible/refundable air tickets when possible. Please do not book flights until your tour status is guaranteed. Once your flights are booked please enter your flight information on the pre-travel form above.

Our Flight management fee is CAD 100.00 + HST, per tour.
Entry Requirements
Visa
Canadian and U.S. citizens need a visa to travel to Vietnam. You can apply for your visa online at: Vietnam e-visa

Passport
You should always make sure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months past the dates of travel.  

Vaccinations
While no specific vaccinations are required, we recommend that your routine vaccinations are up to date and that you visit a local travel health clinic or doctor for advice prior to the trip.

The Women's Travel Club recommends travelers to be fully vaccinated against COVID. Some countries will require COVID vaccination to enter, it is the traveler's resposibility to insure they meet all requirements.

Weather
The average temperature is about 27°C (80°F) in Central and Southern Vietnam and about 17°C (63°F) in Northern Vietnam, which makes February an ideal month for travel. You can enjoy warm weather and rainfall amounts are low across the country this time of year.
Currency
The official currency is the Vietnamese Dong. Currency is divided into denominations of VND 1000, VND 2000, VND 5000, VND 10,000, VND 20,000. Since polymer money was put into use starting in 2003, now only paper notes with a value of VND 1,000, VND 2,000 and VND 5,000 are still valid in Vietnam. For easy conversion purposes, $1 USD is approximately equal to 25,000 Vietnamese Dong. 


Credit cards are widely accepted for larger purchases (can be difficult with smaller amounts) with Visa and MasterCard being the most popular.  Do not expect to be able to use American Express widely.  


ATMs are available in most areas.  Confirm with your bank that your ATM card can be used internationally. 
Electric Outlets
In Vietnam there are three associated plug types, types A, C and F. Type A plugs have two flat parallel pins, type C plugs have two round pins and type F plugs have two round pins with two earth clips on the side. Vietnam operates on a 220V supply voltage and 50Hz.


A universal all-in-one travel adapter (can be purchased from retailers like Amazon) will allow you to plug in and charge most electronic devices. Most electronic devices have built-in converters. However, if you plan to use North American appliances like hair dryers, flat irons or curling irons you will need a converter.
