Cinnamon Lodge

Cinnamon Lodge, located in Habarana, offers spacious guest rooms designed for comfort, featuring large windows and a rustic, earth-toned décor.

Guests can enjoy a variety of dining options. Ehala serves buffet-style international and Sri Lankan cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with a snack menu. The Lotus restaurant offers à la carte dining with local classics and gourmet dishes. Tuskers provides a semi-open atmosphere for cocktails with views of the surrounding nature. Dine at the Jetty offers lakeside BBQ dinners with a modern twist, including desserts and cocktails.

For relaxation, the Svastha Serene Spa specializes in Balinese massages, deep tissue therapy, reflexology, and aromatherapy.

Earls Regency

Earls Regency, located in the heart of Kandy, offers spacious guest rooms featuring earth tones, wooden accents, and private balconies.

Dining options include the King’s Court Restaurant, which serves European, Asian, Indian, and Sri Lankan cuisine in a casual setting with live music. The Royal Pavilion Restaurant offers both an à la carte menu and a buffet featuring Western, Far Eastern, Sri Lankan, and Indian dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. At the Mountbatten Bar & Lounge, guests can enjoy burgers, steaks, pizzas, and French fries, alongside a wide selection of cocktails, beers, wines, and liquor in a laid-back atmosphere.

Tea Trails

Tea Trails, located in Hatton surrounded by beautiful gardens. The hotel offers elegantly designed guest rooms with large windows that showcase stunning views.

Guests can enjoy a variety of unique dining experiences. The “Planters” Lunch is served picnic-style on the hillside, offering views of the jungle and tea fields. For dinner, a tea-infused menu features dishes inspired by the flavors of locally grown tea and organic produce from the garden. Guests can also participate in a cooking class that highlights the ingredients and techniques of Sri Lankan cuisine. The Grand Udawalawe, situated at the boundary of Sri Lanka’s wet and dry zones, offers a rich variety of flora and fauna. The hotel features 79 spacious guest rooms with rustic designs, highlighting earth tones and wooden accents for a unique, natural ambiance.

FAQ's

Through our own clients and networking clubs we have realized a general desire for women to travel but they don’t always have a companion. We developed the Women’s Travel Club for these women to have a fun and safe group to travel with. We offer a wide range of destinations, so that there is something for everyone.

We have women of all ages, with the average being 45 to 65 years. However, we do have regular travelers anywhere from 30 years to over 80 years of age.

We do not include international flights in the price of our tours. Not including the cost of international flights in the cost of the tour allows members the flexibility to get the flight schedule, price and class of service that best suits them. The Women's Travel Club flight desk will be happy to help arrange your international flights.

Yes, we always negotiate the best possible single supplement rate for our trips. Single spots fill quickly and may be limited so we suggest you book early for a single spot.

Yes, each of our booking forms has an area for you to request to be matched with a roommate. We get some general information that will help us match you with a great new friend. If a roommate is not initially available you may have to book in as a single and then change to double occupancy when a roommate is available.

Canadian and U.S. citizens visiting Sri Lanka must have either an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) or a visa to enter Sri Lanka. Visas can be obtained on arrival.

Sri Lanka experiences average daily temperatures ranging from 25°C to 32°C (77°F to 90°F). The coastal regions tend to be slightly hotter, with temperatures around 30°C (86°F), while the higher elevations in central Sri Lanka may have cooler temperatures, averaging around 25°C (77°F).
