Signature South Africa & Victoria Falls

Experience the thunder and feel the mist of the falls up close as we tour the falls. You will be accompanied through the Rainforest by one of the qualified Guides who will give a brief history of the Falls themselves as well as detailing the flora, fauna, bird & wildlife and other points of interest.
This afternoon we will be taken to an authentic rural village approximately 20 km away from Victoria Falls town, and given the opportunity to watch local villagers going about daily tasks. The tour enables the guest to see rural life first hand, visiting rural homes, watching the fields being tended and possibly getting the chance to help in some of the chores. There is also the opportunity to meet the village chief and learn about the way of life from him. Guests are able to gain an insight into Zimbabwean rural life and better understand the cultural aspect of the lifestyle, by interacting with the different cultures.

This evening we will embark on a sunset cruise on the Zambezi.  There is no better way to end a day of adventuring in Victoria Falls, than sitting back and relaxing with an ice cold sun-downer in hand and soaking up your surroundings. Our Sunset Cruise includes unlimited premium drinks, gourmet snacks and an abundance of wildlife and birdlife sightings. To top it all off, the cruise will end with a spectacular sunset over the Zambezi River.

A cosmopolitan and modern city surrounded by incredible natural landscapes like Table Mountain and a multitude of beautiful beaches. Table Mountain dominates the city and hovers over not only the downtown core but also the near-lying suburbs. It can be reached by cable car and offers amazing views of the surrounding area. The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront is a bustling shopping, dining and entertainment neighbourhood and a pleasant place to simply stroll around or enjoy a meal or a drink. Robben Island, a short ferry ride from the city, is where Nelson Mandela spent many years incarcerated and is now UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens have some of the most beautiful unique flora anywhere and around 2000 plant species are grown here.

Then we will explore Cape Town itself.  The Mother City, situated at the foot of iconic Table Mountain, is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.  Then we will visit Robben Island to learn more about Nelson Mandela’s experience on the island.

Then we will head to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, with a stop at the Diamond Museum.  Diamonds are the world’s most desirable treasure (and a girl’s best friend!) – and the oldest, with origins over three billion years ago. South Africa’s contribution to that history changed the world diamond industry forever. The Cape Town Diamond Museum pays homage to this extraordinary story, with insight and originality, sophistication and style Experience diamonds like never before. Learn about the diamond industry, the history of diamonds and diamonds in South Africa. You can expect an intimate tour and learning experience when visiting the diamond museum. Expect to see mining gear, famous diamond replicas, historical artifacts, specimens of natural kimberlite and much more. You will also have the chance to see how diamond jewelry is manufactured to the final product.

The social enterprise runs on commercial principles to achieve positive social and environmental benefit. This afternoon we will have a great walking tour to taste the specialties of the town.  A walking tour of the town centre allows visitors to take in its beautifully preserved Cape Dutch and Victorian architecture, as well as the many enticing art galleries, craft shops, clothing boutiques and gift stores, while foodies may prefer indulging in mouth-watering cuisine and fine wines at one of the chic restaurants or buzzing bistros. One of the best ways to experience the heart of Stellenbosch is to taste it.  Our guided tour of this quaint town will stop to taste a selection of its best food offerings.
