If you would like the double occupancy rate but don’t have a roommate, we will match you with a suitable roommate. The single occupancy rate will give you your own room. Single occupancy may be limited. CAD = Canadian dollars. USD = United States of America dollars. Conversion to USD is approximated by current exchange rates and is subject to change. You will be charged in CAD, and your bank may charge a slightly different rate or fee.

Roommate Matching Policy

Roommate matching is done as a courtesy, and while most matches result in wonderful friendships, success is not guaranteed. If, during the tour, you decide you would no longer like to share a room with your roommate, you will need to request (and pay for) a single room at all accommodations. This can be shared between the two people in the room if it is a mutual decision. If you are a very light sleeper or snore, you may want to consider getting your own single room.

SkyCity Hotel Auckland

SkyCity Hotel Auckland, centrally located in the heart of Auckland, offers easy access to restaurants, bars, and attractions. The spacious and modern guest rooms feature designer bathrooms, amenities, and city views.

Start your day with breakfast at Fortuna Buffet Restaurant, offering a wide selection of delicious dishes.

For a unique dining experience, visit the Sky Bar, situated 182 meters in the clouds, offering a breathtaking 360° view of the city. Huami serves traditional signature Chinese dishes made from fresh ingredients, complemented by an extensive wine list featuring New Zealand wines and international selections. The Sugar Club provides a chic environment with a menu featuring fine food, creative cocktails, and an extensive wine list.

Rydges Rotorua

Rydges Rotorua is located close by to the Redwood forest and overlooking the waters of the Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley. The hotel offers 203 guest rooms designed to be modern and comfortable equipped with amenities.

Guests can visit Chapman’s Restaurant for a buffet that offers a variety of seafood, roasts, desserts and more that are inspired by Pasifika flavors and international dishes. RealNZ, Milford Sound

RealNZ’s Milford Sound vessel is a traditional ‘scow style’ ship, occasionally setting sails to harness the wind. It accommodates up to 120 guests and features a spacious viewing deck, indoor lounge, on-board nature guide, and a dining saloon with a licensed bar. The cabinet-style menu offers locally inspired dishes, craft beer, and barista-made coffee.

Oakridge Resort Wanaka

Oakridge Resort Wanaka is located only 3km from Lake Wanaka New Zealand’s 4th largest lake and surrounded by mountains. The hotel is also close by to many attractions such as the Puzzling World and Roys Peak. The hotel offers 173 guest rooms are simple and comfortable and the one bedroom apartment come with a full kitchen, a balcony or patio and come equipped with amenities.

The hotels restaurant offers creative New Zealand cuisine made from fresh local ingredients.

Distinction Christchurch Hotel

It is also just 20 minutes from the airport. The hotel offers 179 guest rooms designed to be spacious, contemporary, and modern, equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

Guests can dine at Gumption Restaurant & Bar, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu features dishes made with fresh, local, sustainable produce, offering a variety of options including salads, dumplings, fried chicken, burgers, fish and chips, vegetable risotto, ribs, and cheese boards. Through our own clients and networking clubs we have realized a general desire for women to travel but they don’t always have a companion. We developed the Women’s Travel Club for these women to have a fun and safe group to travel with. We offer a wide range of destinations, so that there is something for everyone.

We have women of all ages, with the average being 45 to 65 years. However, we do have regular travelers anywhere from 30 years to over 80 years of age.

We do not include international flights in the price of our tours. Not including the cost of international flights in the cost of the tour allows members the flexibility to get the flight schedule, price and class of service that best suits them. The Women's Travel Club flight desk will be happy to help arrange your international flights.

Yes, we always negotiate the best possible single supplement rate for our trips. Single spots fill quickly and may be limited so we suggest you book early for a single spot.

Yes, each of our booking forms has an area for you to request to be matched with a roommate. We get some general information that will help us match you with a great new friend.

Temperatures can be quite summery in the middle of the day, but you should still expect colder nights and early mornings. The average daytime high temperatures in spring can range from 59° F (15° C) in Wellington and 61° F (16° C) in Queenstown, to 66° F (19° C) in the Bay of Islands and 64° F (18° C) in Auckland.
