Entry Requirements

Visa

Citizens of Canada and Bermuda do not require visas to enter the United States for visit, tourism and temporary business travel purposes. Citizens of the Schengen countries, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and the Kingdom of Brunei can visit the United States for up to 90 days without applying for a visa (as well as citizens of Andorra, Liechtenstein, Monaco and San Marino). Citizens of these countries must obtain an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) before traveling. All other travellers must obtain a visa before visiting the United States.

Passport

All travellers entering the United States need a passport upon arrival (regardless of their country of citizenship). International travelers need a passport that is valid for at least 3 months after the end of their intended trip in order to enter the country.

Vaccinations
While no specific vaccinations are required, we recommend that your routine vaccinations are up to date and that you visit a local travel health clinic or doctor for advice prior to the trip.

If you are traveling through immigration and customs, all prescription medications should be in their original containers with doctor’s prescription printed on the container. It is advised to travel with no more than personal use quantities, a rule of thumb is no more than a 90-day supply.

The Women's Travel Club recommends travelers to be fully vaccinated against COVID. Some countries will require COVID vaccination to enter, it is the traveler's resposibility to insure they meet all requirements.

Travel requirements may change at any time. Please visit your government's travel recommendations page.
