This afternoon we visit the West Bank of Luxor and the Valley of the Kings. Climb down into the spectacularly decorated tombs of the Pharaohs. Optional visit down into the tomb of King Tutankhamun. After that, we visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Hatshepsut is arguably one of the most formidable women in ancient Egypt. Hatshepsut was the first female ruler of ancient Egypt to reign as a male with the full authority of a pharaoh. The we will visit a workshop for Handmade Alabaster.
