We depart the hotel early this morning approximately 75 minutes prior to sunrise and travel to the sunrise viewing area of Uluru (Ayers Rock) and watch the first sunlight of the day creep across the desert plains.
This is a unique time of the day in the desert and should not be missed. After we sunrise return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, re-board your vehicle and return to Uluru for the base tour. Your guide will escort you on a short walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole at Uluru where you will learn the creation stories of Liru (venomous snake) and Kuniya (Python). You will drive around the base of Uluru to experience the Mala walk and learn more about the culture of the Anangu (local Aboriginal people).
Fly from Ayers Rock to Cairns. On arrival into Cairns, make your way to the luggage collection area where you will be met by our local representative and assisted with the transfer to the hotel.
