Situated atop a 62,000 year old volcano, the Auckland Domain is a beautiful inner-city park which offers great views across the harbour to Rangitoto, Auckland’s most iconic volcano which last erupted just 600 years ago.

Enjoy a visit to the Auckland War Memorial Museum showcasing the story of New Zealand, its place in the Pacific and its people. The Museum is a war memorial for the province of Auckland and holds one of New Zealand’s top three heritage libraries. It has pre-eminent Maori and Pacific collections, significant nature history resources and major social and military history collections, as well as decorative arts and pictorial collections. You are free to explore the museum at your own leisure. At the end of the visit we continue onto Mission Bay, Parnell Village, Auckland’s oldest suburb, full of charm and character. Tour ends back at the hotel. The afternoon is at own leisure to relax or explore.
