Arrival Details Arrive to La Paz, Bolivia – La Paz International Airport (LAP) – at any time on or before the first day of the tour. | Departure Details Depart from La Paz, Bolivia – La Paz International Airport (LAP) – on the last day of the tour. | Airport Transfers Airport arrival transfers are included with your tour. You will be met at the airport. After you exit the secure area look for someone with a sign with either your name or the Women’s Travel Club. If you have purchased your own pre-night accommodations (not through the Women’s Travel Club) you will have to arrange your own airport transfer or take a taxi. |

Visa
For Canadian citizens, a tourist visa is not required for stays of up to 30 days in Bolivia.
For U.S. citizens, a tourist visa is required.
Passport
For Canadian citizens, passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the date you arrive in Bolivia.
For U.S. citizens, passports must be valid for 6 months as of the entry date into the country and contain one page per stamp.
Vaccinations
We recommend that your routine vaccinations are up to date and that you visit a local travel health clinic or doctor for advice prior to the trip. It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they meet all requirements.
Proof of Yellow Fever vaccination is required.

Weather In October the average weather is between 26°C and 32°C (80°F and 90 °F). Possible rain showers that usually pass quickly. La Paz is cold with maximum highs of 15°C (59°F) and lows of 1°C (34°F). | Currency The official currency in Bolivia is the Boliviano (BOB). US Dollars are also widely accepted. ATMs are widely available particularly in larger cities. Major credit cards are accepted in larger establishments. However, cash is still commonly used in Bolivia particularly in smaller towns and rural areas. | Electric Outlets In Bolivia there are two associated plug types, types A and C. Type A plugs have two flat parallel pins and type C plugs have two round pins. Bolivia operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz. A universal all-in-one travel adapter (can be purchased from retailers like Amazon) will allow you to plug in and charge most electronic devices. Most electronic devices have built-in converters. However, if you plan to use North American appliances like hair dryers, flat irons or curling irons you will need a converter. |
