Currency
The currency in Saint Lucia is the Eastern Caribbean Dollar. It is linked to the US dollar. US currency is widely accepted on the island. There are currency exchange booths at the airport, and hotels or resorts might be able to exchange money at the front desk. Additionally, Saint Lucia has several banks that will exchange funds.

ATM machines are widely available.

Most hotels, restaurants and larger stores accept credit cards, but local stores seldom do.
Electric Outlets
In Saint Lucia there is one associated plug type, type G. Type G plugs have three rectangular pins in a triangular pattern. Saint Lucia operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz.

A universal all-in-one travel adapter (can be purchased from retailers like Amazon) will allow you to plug in and charge most electronic devices. Most electronic devices have built-in converters. However, if you plan to use North American appliances like hair dryers, flat irons or curling irons you will need a converter.
