Day 1
Women's Travel Club Sri Lanka Adventure
Welcome to Sri Lanka!

On arrival in Sri Lanka you will be met and assisted by our Airport Representative, who will direct you to your vehicle for your transfer to Negombo, once a trading port for the Dutch and British, Negombo has developed into a bustling modern town with a handful of reminders of its colonial past. Situated close to the international airport, it makes a convenient rest stop before heading inland to explore.

The wide golden sand beach is dotted with fishing boats and the inland resort road offers a selection of restaurants and bars. Check in to the hotel, relax and recover from any jet lag.
The adventure begins tonight. Feel free to explore before your welcome meeting, but make sure you’re back in time to meet the group. After introductions, your tour host will review the details of your tour and then we will enjoy a welcome dinner together.
Accommodations: Pledge Scape

Day 2
Women's Travel Club Sri Lanka Adventure
Wilpattu National Park

Early morning check out of the hotel and proceed on your drive to Wilpattu. This afternoon you will be taken on a safari tour of the Wilpattu National Park in a private open-air jeep. Wilpattu has re-opened after the end of the civil war and offers visitors a wonderful nature experience with fewer visitors than Yala. After being hit during the war, the wildlife numbers are now on the rise again so keep your eyes peeled for elephants, deer, wild boar, wild buffaloes, monkeys, sloth bears, crocodiles and leopards, as well as a huge variety of exciting bird and reptile life.

There is nothing quite like an alfresco dinner under the stars, or under the canopy of a large tree, with the ambiance of a bush forest hiding scurrying animals. Enjoy a BBQ by the campfire with the entertainment of tranquillity and chirping crickets, and, additionally, our assurance that you will experience more than just a meal.
Accommodations: Big Game Camp

Day 3
Women's Travel Club Sri Lanka Adventure
Wilpattu National Park

Early morning proceed on a game drive around Wilpattu National Park. Sit back and relax on your safari as you try to catch a glimpse of some of the wonderful Sri Lankan wildlife. We will enjoy a packed breakfast and lunch and return to our hotel in the late afternoon.

At sundown, after a rewarding safari, sit by a roaring campfire with a chilled beer while lighting is supplied by flame torches, hurricane lamps, and the moon. Nightfall brings new excitement; the thunder crack of ‘Elephant Crackers’ in the distance lit by farmers as a warning to elephants wandering too close to their harvest, an occasional hoot of an exotic owl, the soft purr of a jungle cat… you don’t quite realise you’re in the middle of an adventure until you live it!
Accommodations: Big Game Camp

Spend the day learning how to cook a traditional Sri Lankan meal and enjoy lunch.

Afterwards walk through the peaceful village where our guide will talk to us about the daily lives of the local people.
