Located in Terreiro do Paco - Praça do Comercio, a historic part of the city of Lisbon, is now born a new lodging in Praca do Comercio. Historic place of unique importance, this was the place where for centuries ships with goods disembarked. Totally destroyed after the 1755 earthquake, it was Marques de Pombal the one who gave the order to rebuild almost the entire Lisbon. This is one of the most emblematic places of the city and there are several exit points from here that allow you to visit the rest of Lisbon, walk alongside the Tejo or even cross the river bank. If Lisbon was born at the castle, it was from the Terreiro do Paco (Palace Square) that it expanded. Augusta Street is the main artery that connects the Commerce Square to the beautiful Rossio Square.
The magnificent Pousada of Queluz is located on a main square opposite the Queluz Palace which was the official residence of the Portuguese royal family from 1794. This luxury hotel in Queluz formerly housed the Royal Guards while resident at the Palace. It has been beautifully renovated, maintaining much of the building's 18th century character.
The Hotel Queluz is well located for visiting Lisbon and for exploring the whole Lisbon coast. The Pousada's restaurant, the Cozinha Velha ("Old Kitchen") is located across the square from the Pousada in what were originally the Palace kitchens. This restaurant is exceptional and we highly recommend it for Portuguese regional cuisine.
Against a backdrop of mountains enfolding an enchanted valley nestles a truly special hotel where emotions flow freely both inside and out, where colours and textures mingle, and the sounds of birdsong and the caress of the breeze invites us to be at one with nature.
Enjoy the freedom to explore a menu of 12 emotions, savouring them slowly one by one - the Hotel Cooking and Nature welcomes you.
The Hotel Palacio dos Melos is the result of an architectural renovation of an emblematic building of Viseu, maintaining the original historical characteristics and equipping it with modern and comfortable accommodations. The guests can choose between classic or contemporary-style rooms.
This is the perfect starting point to discover a city where past and present merge in harmony.
Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo is a place of extreme beauty in the heart of Douro valley and owned by Amorim family since 1999.
The family connection to the wine comes from afar, through its connection with the export houses of Vila Nova de Gaia in the cork business. Meanwhile the dream came true and the project is now in the hands of the 4th generation of the family.
In a grand building dating from 1508, this informal hotel with original vaulted ceilings is 5 minutes' walk from Braga Cathedral and 13 minutes' walk from Braga railway station. Warm rooms provide free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, minibars and safes. Room service is available 24/7. Kids age 11 and under stay at no extra cost with a parent. Amenities include 2 restaurants and a bar, plus an outdoor pool, and a kids' pool with waterslides. There's a spa, an indoor pool and a gym, as well as a garden and a play area.
In the most unique and vibrant city of Portugal, discover the palace of the eighteenth century that, for a few days, will be your haven. Pestana Palacio do Freixo belongs to the Leading Hotels of the World and offers a unique and absolutely memorable experience, wrapped in classic luxury and filled with contemporary comfort.
Located on the river that gives life to the best wine in the world, Pestana Palacio do Freixo rises serene, between French-style gardens and granite stonework, in a contrasting and balanced dialogue that welcomes you with care and attention.
