Day 1 - Arrive Athens

Welcome to Greece!
On arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel by private car. This evening we will meet for a wonderful dinner overlooking the Acropolis.

Day 2 - Athens

Athens, the enchanting capital of Greece, has always been a birthplace for civilization. It is the city where democracy was born and which was once the centre of the ancient World. Private sightseeing tour with a local guide including a visit to the Acropolis archaeological site, and Lycabettus Hill to view Athens. This tour gives you the opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Your expert guide will take you to see the center of the city, the Constitution Square (Syntagma), the House of Parliament, the Monument of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University and the National Library. On the way to the Acropolis you will make a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium where the first modern Olympic Games were help in 1896, you will see the temple of Olympian Zeus and the Hadrian’s Arch. At the Acropolis, you will visit the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erectheion and finally “the harmony between material and sprit”, the monument that “puts order in the mind”, the Parthenon.
Enjoy a free afternoon to further explore this amazing city.

Day 3 - Mykonos

This morning we will leave Athens and make our way to Mykonos. Transfer to port for ferry to Mykonos. Sit back and relax on the comfortable 2 hour ferry ride across the beautiful Agean sea. Once in Mykonos we will transfer to our resort for the next 3 nights.
Get checked in to hotel, free time, for dinner we will experience authentic Greek hospitality and flavor with a meal at the Mykonian Spiti, a traditional island home converted into a showcase of Mykonian life and cooking. Meet the friendly owner and get an introduction to local customs in a warm, intimate setting before enjoying a delicious home-cooked meal served with Greek wine and ‘raki’ brandy.

Day 4 - Mykonos

Join your local guide for a half-day visit to Ano Mera – a picturesque village and its 16th century monastery. Visit Armenistis Lighthouse with its amazing views. Next, take the ferry to Delos for a guided tour
A comfortable city walk to the unique sites like Little Venice and the windmill area, Paraportiani church, and the harbor front. Explore the white washed houses of Mykonos.

Day 5 - Mykonos

Enjoy a free day to further explore this fabulous area or relax by the pool or the beach.

Day 6 - Santorini

Today we say good-bye to beautiful Mykonos and make our way to equally lovely Santorini. We will transfer to port for the 2 1/2 hr ferry ride to Santorini. Once in Santorini we will set out on a late afternoon tour to Oia with a stop at the Caldera. After our tour of Caldera you will have a bit of time to shop and explore before an amazing Dinner to watch the sunset.

Day 7 - Santorini

After our included breakfast we will head out with a local tour guide and live like a local for a couple of hours. In this tour, you will meet the real locals and get to know about their home’s architecture. The interaction with the native Santorinians will also help you get a better cultural experience and an insight view of the ecological friendly houses which are curved into the hillsides. You will also admire Santorini’s churches, which treasure the local historical and cultural legacy. We strongly believe that it is not all about the blue dome church, but it’s also about the interior of the building. Return to the hotel for time at leisure.

Day 8 - Santorini

Today, after breakfast, we head out to taste delicious homemade local produce at an organic family farm in the countryside – Santorini Earth Goods with Yannis Nomikos. Wine tasting of types of wine at a traditional Santorini winery. We head back to Fira time for lunch (included) then we join a volcano cruise. The boat will leave the Old port and sail to the volcano lava “Nea Kameni” where you will have time to walk up to the still active crater. Then Sail along the lava rock to reach the hot springs “Palea Kameni” – where you can swim in the warm water. Don’t miss it! Return to the Old Port of Fira and back to the hotel.

Day 9 - Crete

Today we transfer by ferry to Crete. Crete is the largest of the Greek islands and is also the fifth largest in the Mediterranean Sea. It is a destination which has a wide variety of attractions from historic to scenic. It has ancient archaeological sites, great beaches and superb scenery ranging from mountains to green valleys and steep gorges.

Day 10 - Crete

After breakfast, join your local guide for a half-day tour, taking in Heraklion’s signature sights. You will explore the Palace of Knossos, and enjoy some time to walk around visiting the open-air market (will depend on what day we are there) You’ll see The Venetian Loggia, The Cathedral of St Minas or the Church of St. Titus and visit the Heraklion Archaeological Museum. Take in the Venetian Walls and historic Koules Fortress.

Day 11 - Crete

Enjoy a free morning to relax or explore. This afternoon we will head to Dourakis Winery where Mr. Dourakis, the winemaker himself, will share with us his winemaking stories and you will be given a guided tour of the wine cellar. Then it is off to the olive farm, a small estate with an organic olive grove, vegetable patch and herb garden, for our cooking session and our garden-to-plate dinner. This night will not only be delicious, but also fun and memorable! You will experience the diverse musical culture of Crete and, if you’re feeling energetic, take part in some traditional Cretan dancing.

Day 12 - Depart

It is time to say good-bye to this beautiful country and the amazing friends you have made along the way. After breakfast we will transfer to the airport for your flight home.
