Women's Travel Club Egypt Tour
Saqqara & Dahshur

We start our day at the Ancient Necropolis of Saqqara is known as the healing centre in ancient times where the priests used sound healing techniques to restore the patient’s body to the correct harmonics. Saqqara is the location of the Step Pyramid.

The Bent Pyramid of Sneferu in Dahshur, has two different chambers that produce two distinct sound frequencies. These frequencies are in turn amplified within the pyramid walls to create huge fields of harmonic resonance that restore balance within a human body. The Red Pyramid, also called the North Pyramid, is the largest of the pyramids located at the Dahshur necropolis. Named for the rusty reddish hue of its red limestone stones, it is also the third largest Egyptian pyramid, after those of Khufu and Khafre at Giza Lunch will be a traditional Egyptian BBQ under the palm trees of Saqqara. Then for some shopping opportunity at the Carpet School in Saqqara. The day is not over yet, we will visit the government regulated Papyrus Institute. We will now experience how the ancients recorded their history on the first paper ever produced. See the processes and efforts it took to make this ancient form of paper. Also, enjoy the beautiful illustrative Egyptian art and stories painted depicting Egyptian lifestyle and culture.

Day 3
Women's Travel Club Egypt Tour - Sphinx
Private Sphinx Visit

We have been granted very special access not normally available to the general public. We will have the privilege of watching the sunrise on the Giza Plateau with just our group in between the Paws of the mighty Sphinx. The Sphinx was widely believed to have been an oracle. Between its paws is a 15th-century BC stone tablet called a ‘Dream Stela’ recounting a vision given to a prince who slept in the shadow of the Sphinx (and perhaps sought its divine aid) and later became a pharaoh.

We will return to the hotel for breakfast and a short rest.
Later today we will explore the Giza Plateau, your chance to personally stand where the Ancient Egyptians stood thousands of years ago, next to the Great Pyramid of Cheops, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the only one that still exists. Here you will have the option to climb inside the Kings Chamber of the Great Pyramid of Giza (optional extra cost).
We continue our adventure with a camel ride through the Sahara for some amazing photos of 9 Pyramids. Late lunch will be served on the Giza Plateau with a final view of the pyramids as we leave Cairo tomorrow. Before returning to the hotel we will spend a few hours with Gamal Abdul an Egyptian Reiki Master and Healer to learn about Chakra Healing Oils that date back to the time of the Pharaoh’s and all their healing benefits.

You will find items such as granite sarcophagus and perfectly sculptured giant statues to ancient tools, mummies, chariots and even some board games played by the Pharaoh's.
In the evening we will board a private Dahabeya, a traditional sailing boat like those that have sailed the Nile for thousands of years.
Our luxury Dahabeya is just over 12 months old and fitted out with all the modern conveniences such as en-suited, fully air-conditioned rooms, indoor and outdoor spaces. The Dahabeya is exclusively for our use with private crew, choice of menus and our own sailing schedule. Luxury Nile Dahabeya

In Arabic, a ‘Dahabeya’ literally means the golden one. And we think the name truly represents the experience and the mood it sets. Dahabeyas take you on a journey to the charm of an old era of tranquility, when people in Egypt used to cruise and enjoy the beauty of the Nile every winter.
Generally, a Dahabeya is a two-masted sailing boat, bigger than a felucca, but smaller than a commercial Nile cruise. Because they work with no engines, you get to enjoy the sound of the water and the birds chirping above you while you take a break from the bustling city noise. Dahabeyas were more common during ancient Egypt and the monarchy, as leaders, officials, and the country’s wealthiest people would used them as a mode of transport and leisure.
Our Dahabeya marked her maiden voyage in 2021. She is a larger Dahabeya with three decks and perfect for small groups. There is a large salon on the bottom deck available to provide you with a relaxing and divine setting to enjoy reading, relaxation, playing board games, meditation and workshop space for all types of groups. The top deck is a spacious sun-deck, there you will find sunbeds and seating areas to enjoy the sun or relax in the shade. Buffet dining area with views of the Nile at sunset and sunrise that takes your breath away. The pièce de résistance is our Aquarium Room, this room is fully glassed so you can feel outside but inside this room is set up for mediation, yoga and workshops or the dining area with the weather is cold and windy. There are also several different Egyptian and Bedouin-style seating areas around the Dahabiya to sit back and enjoy the view of Egypt and life on the Nile River.
