Itinerary

Welcome to Dubai!
Upon Arrival at Dubai Airport Terminal, proceed to clear immigration. After collecting your baggage and having cleared customs proceed to arrival area where our local representative will be waiting for you holding sign board.
This afternoon we will visit the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. Pause briefly at a unique viewing point for your first close-up view of the soaring Burj Khalifa, seen through a skylight framing its awe-inspiring height. Begin your vertical ascent to the observation deck in a high-speed elevator, travelling at 10 meters per second. As the doors open, floor-to-ceiling glass walls provide a breath-taking unobstructed 360-degree view of the city, the desert and the ocean. You can also walk the entire perimeter for the most comprehensive views. If you wish, venture out onto the open-air terrace to enjoy another perspective of the sweeping views below. Dinner tonight will be a 3-course meal at the Burj Club, located on the 5th floor, during dinner you will be able to experience the Dubai Fountains that go off every 30 minutes.

Day 2 - Dubai

After breakfast, begin your tour of Dubai. Start at the Creek Side to witness the beautiful skyline of Dubai and a walking tour in Al Fahidi Historic District commonly referred to as Al Bastakiya. Step back in time and enjoy the atmosphere of Bastakiah, one of the oldest traditional Emirati neighborhoods we will set out for a walking tour through the unique narrow sikkas and beautiful wind tower residences along the Dubai Creek as you learn the history and culture of Dubai and the UAE. Visit the Al Fahidi Fort which houses the Dubai Museum. The Fort was built around 1787 and once guarded the landward approaches to the town. Renovated in 1971 for use as a museum, its colourful life size dioramas vividly depict everyday life in the days before the discovery of oil. Stop at the charming Arabian Tea House for refreshments. Wind down in the courtyard with a fresh lemon and mint juice (a Dubai favourite) and a date cake. We'll stop at several craft shops, small heritage museums, and the highly informative Women's Museum.
Next up, cross the creek by traditional boats called Abra's to reach the souk - which is the Arabic word for the market. Traditionally, Arabic shipping vessels discharge their cargos on the docks, which would be bargained over in the souks adjacent. Times have changed since then as Dubai Spice Souk have given way to air-conditioned multi-storied shopping malls and items on sale have changed from spices, silks and Ittar (Arabic Perfume) to latest electronic gizmos, gold and designer apparels. Gold is serious business in this part of the world and the dazzling souk. The gold souk, or gold market, is a truly dazzling sight to behold. At any given time, over 25 tons of gold is on display in Dubai's jewelry shop windows and it has earned Dubai a reputation for being the 'City of Gold'.
Return via Zabeel Road passing by the Palace of Sheikh Mohammad, as well as the Rashid Palace, home to the Royal family of Dubai (No Photography here please).
This evening we head out to the desert for a sunset desert safari and BBQ dinner. Head to the desert on a 4WD that comes with a professional driver and English-speaking guide, who will assist you throughout the tour. Enjoy a dedicated campsite that is regarded as number 1 among many sites in Dubai. Be amazed by the evening view of the desert as you settle in and relax.
