Day 3 - Coastal Drive to Point Reyes Station, Oyster Shucking picnic on Tomales Bay, cooking class dinner

After breakfast your guide will drive you north along California State Route 1, to enjoy a stunning vantage point overlooking Muir Beach, the Pacific Ocean, and Marin County’s rugged coastline. A short walk will take you to a hanging cliff for breathtaking and sweeping views. You’ll see birds soar along the coastline, and fishing boats as small specs down below you. Your drive will take you into the charming town of Point Reyes Station where you can grab one of the famous morning buns from the Bovine Bakery, and sample award-winning cheeses from local creameries.
After visiting Point Reyes, continue along tranquil Tomales Bay to family-owned Tomales Bay Oyster Company, where you'll have an oyster shucking demo and lesson, a short tour of the oyster farm, and the chance to sample some of the West Coast's best oysters!
This afternoon we travel to Napa Valley. In the evening we will visit the Silverado Cooking School and partake in a hands on cooking class, featuring ingredients grown in the site's own gardens and sourced from local farms. We will pair our creation with the perfect California wines.

Day 4 - Napa Valley Tour & Wine Train

All aboard! After a leisurely morning, we'll make the quick shuttle from the hotel to the depot for the Napa Valley Wine Train. On board, during the journey north through Napa Valley, you'll enjoy a multi-course gourmet lunch as you pass by views of vineyards and the surrounding mountains. In the early afternoon, after arriving in the town of St Helena, you'll deboard the train and continue journeying through Napa by motorcoach, stopping and 2 classic Napa Wineries (these will probably be Charles Krug and Raymond). You'll have the chance to tour and taste at each winery before returning by coach to the depot, where we'll then shuttle back to the hotel. Dinner will be on your own in Napa.
Accommodations - Napa River Inn

Day 5 - Napa Valley Ballooning, Sonoma Wine Tour

Rise and shine early today! We'll head up to Yountville first thing in the morning for a spectacular balloon flight over the Napa Valley. After our flight, we'll have time to return to the hotel for a late breakfast and time to freshen up for our afternoon tour.
In the afternoon we'll head out to western Sonoma County to stroll through the Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve. This will be an easy walk on a mix of paved roads and dirt paths that meander through a grove of old-growth redwood trees, just like you would see in Muir Woods but with a fraction of the traffic! We'll enjoy a light picnic lunch in the redwoods, and then visit a Russian River/Sonoma Winery on our return to Napa. Dinner is on your own in Napa.
Accommodations - Napa River Inn

Day 6 - Coastal Redwoods & Russian River Wineries
