If you have purchased your own pre-night or post-night accommodations (not through the Women's Travel Club) you will have to arrange your own airport transfer or take a taxi.
The Women’s Travel Club recommends booking flexible/refundable air tickets when possible. Please do not book flights until your tour status is guaranteed. Once your flights are booked please enter your flight information on the pre-travel form above.

Vaccinations
While no specific vaccinations are required, we recommend that your routine vaccinations are up to date and that you visit a local travel health clinic or doctor for advice prior to the trip.
The Women's Travel Club recommends travelers to be fully vaccinated against COVID. Some countries will require COVID vaccination to enter, it is the traveler's resposibility to insure they meet all requirements.

The official currency of Madagascar is the Malagasy ariary (MGA). Euros are widely accepted. There is a shortage of foreign currency in Madagascar due to an ongoing economic crisis. Some banks will not reconvert local currency to hard currency. Upon arrival, you must declare your foreign currency in excess of 10,000 euros.
Credit cards are accepted in some establishments with Visa being widely accepted and Mastercard and American Express being less widely accepted.
ATMs can be found in airports and most major cities and dispense local currency.
In Madagascar there are two associated plug types, types C and E. Type C plugs have two round pins and type E plugs have two round pins and a hole for the socket's male earthing pin. Madagascar operates on a 220V supply voltage and 50Hz.
