Arrive to Kuching International Airport (KCH) - at any time on or before the first day of the tour.
Depart from Lahad Datu Airport (LDU) - any time after 2:00 PM on the last day of the tour.
The Women’s Travel Club recommends booking flexible/refundable air tickets when possible. Please do not book flights until your tour status is guaranteed. Once your flights are booked please enter your flight information on the pre-travel form above.

Visa
For Canadian and U.S. citizens, a tourist visa is not required for stays of up to 90 days in Borneo/Malaysia.

Vaccinations
While no specific vaccinations are required, we recommend that your routine vaccinations are up to date and that you visit a local travel health clinic or doctor for advice prior to the trip.
Please note that proof of vaccination is required if your are coming from or have transited through an airport of a country where Yellow Fever occurs.
The Women's Travel Club recommends travelers to be fully vaccinated against COVID. Some countries will require COVID vaccination to enter, it is the traveler's resposibility to insure they meet all requirements.

This is a suggested packing list for your tour. Please keep in mind that your personal needs or requirements may differ from the items on this list.
The official currency in Borneo is the Malaysian Ringgit (RM). It's recommended to arrive in Borneo with US dollars which can then be exchanged locally. Note that torn and old US dollar notes are not generally accepted in Borneo. Currency exchanges can be made at local banks. Airports and hotels may also provide currency exchange, but the exchange rates may not be favourable.
ATMs are widely available in cities and towns.
Credit cards (Visa and MasterCard) are accepted in major hotels and in most cafes and restaurants. Smaller, local shops and grocery stores may only accept cash. American Express is not widely accepted.
In Borneo/Malaysia the associated plug type is, type G. Type G plugs have three rectangular pins in a triangular pattern. Borneo/Malaysia operates on a 240V supply voltage and 50Hz.
