Vaccinations
While no specific vaccinations are required, we recommend that your routine vaccinations are up to date and that you visit a local travel health clinic or doctor for advice prior to the trip.
The Women's Travel Club recommends travelers to be fully vaccinated against COVID. Some countries will require COVID vaccination to enter, it is the traveler's resposibility to insure they meet all requirements.

The official currency in Canada is the Canadian Dollar (CAD or C$). Banknotes come in denominations of $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100. Coins come in denominations of Loonie, Toonie, 25¢ quarter, 10¢ dime and 5¢ nickel.
Credit and debit cards are commonly used and accepted across Canada. ATMs are widely available and are commonly found in banks, malls, stores, bars and restaurants. When you withdraw money through an ATM, you will get Canadian currency based on the conversion rate.
It is easy to exchange any foreign currencies into Canadian dollars at currency exchange kiosks. Currency exchange kiosks can be found at airports, shopping malls, border crossings and banks.
In Canada there are two associated plug types, types A and B. Type A plugs have two flat parallel pins and type B plugs have two flat parallel pins and a grounding pin. Canada operates on a 120V supply voltage and 60Hz.
