Start this Greek adventure from Rhodes port then travel to the islands of Symi, Nisyros, Tilos, Chalki and Alimia before returning to Rhodes. You will have the opportunity to visit the volcano of Nisyros and walk to the crater to experience the steam that is still escaping. Your last stop, before returning to Rhodes, is the deserted island of Alimia which was last inhabited at the end of WWII.
Day 1 - Rhodes
Arrive anytime and be transferred to our hotel. Enjoy your day at leisure.
Day 2 – Rhodes
The Medieval Old Town of Rhodes is a World Heritage Site and is a terrific place to start your adventure. Inhabited since the 16th century BC, this island has a multitude of things to experience. The Old Town is urrounded by 4 km of walls and within these walls you will find 200 lanes with no names or signs that are filled with shops, restaurants, museums and history, lots of history.
Today we will board our beautiful yacht, the MedSea ES Canada. This luxe category yacht is well appointed with a large salon and bar area, 2 separate outdoor dining areas, rooftop sunbed deck with 16 sunbeds. All cabins have their own washrooms with walk in showers.
Day 3– Rhodes Harbour
Today we set sail for our journey through the Greek Dodecanese. Set back and relax as the captain and crew ensure a wonderful tour.
Day 4 – Symi
Symi harbour is one of the most idyllic ports in Greece. Houses reach upwards on cliffs on either side of the harbor with a long white staircase leading you to their doors. On the southwest corner of the island is the Panormitis monastery dedicated to the Archangel Michael.
Day 5 – Nisyros
The island of Nisyros is known for its active volcano located in the center of the island with the last eruption being in 1888. Visitors can visit the crater to experience the steam escaping from the volcano and feel the heat of the earth underfoot.
Day 6 – Tilos
Tilos is an island full of charm, whether your interest is castles, monasteries, ghost towns or just the spectacular views, this island provides it all.
Day 7 – Chalki
As you sail towards the port of Chalki you will be amazed at the beauty of its architecture. This island with a population of 500 people will provide you with the quintessential Greek experience
Day 8 – Alimia
The uninhabited island of Alimia was deserted and the end of the Second World War. During its history it has provided a natural safe shelter for many ships. Visiting the island of Alimia provides a view into the past where some of the buildings have been left as they were in the 1940's.
Day 9 – Rhodes Harbour
Return to Rhodes Harbour and disembark after breakfast. Transfer to the airport for departure.
