The Magical Maritimes

August 2019

The landscape of Acadia National Park is marked by woodlands, rocky beaches and glacier-scoured granite peaks such as Cadillac Mountain, the highest point on the United States East Coast. The Maritimes are Canada’s eastern provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. Nova Scotia is known for its long coastlines and artsy capital. New Brunswick encompasses river valleys and the Appalachian Mountains. Between them lies the Bay of Fundy, famous for extreme tides. Prince Edward Island, in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, has red-sand beaches, rolling countryside and abundant seafood. Come and discover this fascinating region steeped in age-old tradition and populated by some of the friendliest people you could ever meet. Come along and discover some of the most beautiful and pristine destinations on the East Coast.
